2011 is a landmark year for Carmarthen Motor Club as we celebrate our centenary.  Being one of the earliest clubs to promote motorsport in West Wales, we started out in 1911 as the Carmarthen Motorcycle and Light Car Club when motorised travel was very different to that witnessed today. To mark the occasion, the club have decided to hold a special centenary dinner at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel on the evening of Saturday June 11th.
A very warm welcome is extended to all former members, and those who may have been associated with the club over the intervening years. In order that arrangements can be progressed, anyone interested in attending is asked to let the club have current contact details in order that further information can be circulated as they become available.  Further details will follow but in the meantime, those interested are asked to contact either Selwyn Thomas (01267 236137) or John Butler-Jenkins (01267 232601). Alternatively, please e-mail contact details to Entrysec@carmarthenmotorclub.co.uk
